Askham Bryan GB squad announced for the FEI Young Rider Championships

We are delighted to announce the six combinations selected for the Askham Bryan Young Rider squad who will represent Great Britain at the upcoming FEI Young Rider European Championships, taking place 22 -25 September 2016 in Montelibretti, Italy.

They are, in alphabetical order;
Kate Bleloch, 20 from Warwickshire, on her own 10 year old gelding Bulano
Sam Ecroyd, 19 from Flintshire, riding the nine year old gelding Opera House, owned by Mrs Penelope Ecroyd
Will Furlong, 21 from East Sussex, with his own 13 year old gelding Livingstone II
Ella Hitchman, 20 from Gloucestershire, on her own 13 year old gelding Rocky Rockstar
Emily King, 20 from Devon, riding the eight year old gelding Dargun, owned by Mrs Jane Del Missier
India Wishart, 21 from Oxon, with her own 10 year old gelding The Masters Harry
Reserves;
Adam Gillespie, 21 from Northumberland, and his own 12 year old gelding Kasseedorf
Libby Seed, 19 from Wiltshire, on the 11 year old gelding Tullamore Dew II, owned by Mrs Louise Knock
Speaking about the selection, Chairman of Selectors Alex Colquhoun; “We are delighted to announce the squad to defend our title from last year. This year we have had a difficult choice from a strong and experienced entry all of whom on the shortlist we would have been happy to have taken.
“We would like to thank our title sponsor Askham Bryan for their ongoing support together with UK Sport and The National Lottery.”
